Many of you have been asking about your upcoming travel plans. I want to assist you with your questions, but first, a few words about more important matters...
Religion, History, Roman Holiday and finding that perfect souvenir were the experiences I hoped to enjoy on my first journey to Rome. Little did I know what I would soon realize instead. For me, the transformation began in Piazza Navona where I found Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (The Fountain of the Four Rivers). Piazza Navona is a rectangular Piazza where along the outer edges lie numerous Sidewalk Cafes peddling dishes bursting with the flavors of the region. Pungent garlic, salty, nutty, full flavored cheeses, baked bread that can be tasted from only a whiff of its “fresh from the oven” aroma and the peppery, sometimes fruity taste of real Italian Olive Oil are all mine to enjoy. Why Join a Group? Many people are torn between taking a group tour or traveling on their own. Planning your trip is time consuming and can be daunting when you have no idea where the hotels are located if you are not familiar with the area. When you join a group, every detail is taken care of for you. Most often, accommodations, breakfast, transportation, tour guide and access to the attractions are included. You also know the price up front so you do not have to worry about your budget. On a tour the hotels are in prime locations, so you can visit local shops, restaurants, and cafes. In some countries, driving on the opposite side of the road and sitting on the opposite side of the car can be a bit overwhelming especially if road signs are in a foreign language that you are not able to understand. On a group tour you are able to sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery. |
